This specialized program is the result of a three year collaboration which has developed golf-specific yoga programming that will help you play better by improving:
- Core
Strength
- Rotational
Flexibility
- Balance
- Posture
The key to playing your very best is the ability for the body to rotate around a stable base; this program will allow you to do this and provide useful visualization and relaxation tools. In order to receive all the benefits of this program, each golfer must plan to be at as many of the yoga sessions as possible. In addition, all participants should be practicing their yoga and golf throughout the program. A training book will be provided with the program which includes yoga homework and golf practice guidelines. We have found that the golfers who show up the most and work the hardest during the program, definitely achieve the most dramatic
improvements.

Megan is acknowledged as
one of the most skillful yoga
ins tructors in the Chicago
area. She has been practicing
yoga for eleven years and has
studied with a variety of
master teachers representing
the different disciplines
ranging from Ashtanga to
Iyengar Yoga. Currently,
Megan works extensively
with the Master Iyengar
teacher, Gabriel Halpen in the
area of therapeutic yoga.
Chris
Kendall
Chris is certified by the
Titleist Performance Institute
as a golf fitness specialist. All
golfers in this program will
undergo the TPI physical
screening at the beginning of
the program to objectively
determine their golf fitness
handicap index. The golfers
then work with Megan and
Chris for the nine weeks at
the yoga studio, then each
golfer will go through the
same TPI golf screening so
we will be able to determine
each golfers improvement in
terms of golf specific
mobility, stability, balance
and posture.
Megan
and Chris have been working with one another for the last
three years to marry the techniques developed by Chris and his partner
Derek at the Dynamic Golf Institute, with a Iyengar based yoga practice.
The results of this collaboration have been outstanding … this
program is the result of these efforts.

(week1), and again at the conclusion of
the program.

participants receive a personal Yoga Kit
including Mat, Block and Strap.
