Eileen Gardner
I discovered yoga in the late 1990's and was drawn to the full body strengthening of ashtanga as well as the peace and relaxation I found in my practice. I was a runner and sports enthusiast, but I found that small injuries and nagging aches and pains were interfering with my everyday life. In yoga I found strength and flexibility and began my journey into the practice of living my yoga. I discovered through regular asana practice, breath work, and mediation, a sense of peace, serenity and joy that hopefully extends beyond my mat. I find inspiration in all types of yoga.
I received my certificate in under Sharyn Galindo, and have had the privilege of studying under David Swenson, Sean Corn, Ana Forrest, Tias Little, Tim Miller, Richard Freeman, and many wonderful teachers in the area. My teaching style is constantly evolving and growing. I hope to share the wonder, joy, humor, and adventure, I experience in yoga in each and every class. I encourage my students to be their own best teacher, tune into their own inner voice, and find their own precious path. Each practice is a celebration of the gifts we have been given. I'm ever so grateful each and every time I step on my mat, to teach or practice.
