I was drawn to yoga in 1998 and soon after began feeling relief from years of back pain caused by scoliosis. From there my love of the practice grew as I began noticing changes in my life both on and off the mat. I completed the 200 hr. Teacher Training, in 2006, at Yogaview in Chicago. Under the guidance of Quinn Kearney and Tom Quinn my ability to share the gift of yoga began.
This year I became certified to teach Integrative Restoration – i Rest, which is a form of meditative self inquiry based on the ancient teachings of yoga.
In the classroom I focus on alignment, breath and helping students deepen their practice. I teach basics and vinyasa flow. It has been my experience that by combining the physical benefits of the asana practice with both pranayama and mediation one can connect with their True Nature, find peace and feel great!
